lots of briar

These are pictures from our nature journal trip to the park. I took a million so I could get one of her smiling, but she was way too distracted to pay any attention to me or to smiling.

journals

While Adam, Piper and Crosby were at That Bounce Place (here and here) Rory, Gage, Briar and I went to the park to work on nature journals.

There is an egret in the tree in the middle in the next to pictures.

oz

We read the Wizard of Oz recently. When we were done we watched the movie and did some Wizard of Oz projects.

Making "over the rainbow" cookies to eat while we watched the movie.

This is Crosby's cookie.

Hot air balloons.

Tornadoes in bottles. They didn't work too well and are really hard to see in the pictures.

Hand print scarecrows and fields of poppies.

We also made a Wizard of Oz graph of favorite characters and I feel like we did something else but I can't remember what.
