Briar got to watch and make sure we were all doing it right.

This is our new bird feeding station here. We set it up outside of our kitchen window and have been doing lots of bird watching. We've had lots and lots of sparrows, downy woodpeckers, chickadees, tufted titmice, cardinals, blue jays, goldfinches, house finches, a northern mockingbird, robins, brown headed cow birds, an eastern towhee and probably a couple more I can't think of right now.

The kids were making bark and leaf rubbings for tree books for school.

We went to That Fish Place (pretty much the world's coolest pet store) a few weeks ago and ended up being there at feeding time for the stingrays in the touch tank. And the kids got to feed them! You hold a chunk of scallop on a plastic stick and the stingrays come eat it.

This baby loves fish.
