Dandelion Cookies

We had a dandelion cookie cooking adventure the other day since the field beside the house is overflowing with them.
Apparently Piper really enjoys picking dandelions. She picked a whole bagful for my mom to make her cookies and then picked most of ours the next day. And she is very careful to make sure no grass or anything else gets mixed in.

The cookies only use the petals. So, we had to remove them all. It turns our Piper isn't quite as good at this part.

Crosby supervised from the baby carrier (until he fell asleep).

We had to make sure everyone had lots of turns to stir.

Here are the finished cookies. If you look closely you can see petals. They aren't as easy to see in pictures. They turned out quite good, although I'm pretty sure the flowers didn't actually add any flavor. They mostly just taste like honey.

If anyone feels inclined to make some dandelion cookies the recipe is here.
