Briar hates laying down. Her bouncy seat (the new one since she was too big for the old one at 4 months old) can lay back completely or be reclined. If I recline it she pulls herself upright and sits straight up with only the buckle holding her in place. So she only uses it when she is napping and uses her walker when she is awake. She gets to sit up and not fall on her head.
