beach

A sandy road from a tropical storm.

A bridge between islands.

Some cranes working in the water.

The beach near our house.

A turtle nest near out house!!! I found out the day before we left that there is a number to call to find out about when nests are hatching. Some of them have public hatching viewings. I'm quite upset that we didn't know sooner.

Our first day at the beach. It was so windy we had to leave. It was right at the end of a tropical storm and anyone shorter than Gage or sitting down had sand stinging their face and getting in their eyes constantly. We spent the next day doing things that didn't involve the beach, and by that evening the wind had stopped.

Gage being a turtle (or maybe a crab - I don't quite remember).
