Zebras! They were all a little nervous about getting too close to the fence.

Piper kept walking around the petting zoo saying, "Look, a real animal!" and "I'm going to feed this real animal". I think she just meant that they weren't in cages, but I'm not really sure. I do know that she was rather impressed by the real animals.
None of the goats or the sheep were very hungry. They must have already had their fill of crackers for the day. Piper was determined to get them to eat anyhow. She would pick one and try to shove the food into it's mouth. It wasn't a very successful strategy.
Rory spent a lot of time trying to keep goats from eating her dress.

We finally found some hungry animals in a field on the edge of the petting zoo.
