This is a story Rory and Gage wrote for school. They took turns deciding what would happen next.
Once upon a time there was a lightning bug who wanted to go on a great adventure to the beach. He went swimming, stayed up all night and day, played in the sand, dug a big hole to hide in and dug up lots of clams to eat. Then he got a house to stay in and went out everyday to play and splash and jump and play volleyball. Then he jumped through a hula hoop that was on fire like lions do. Then he came to our house and gave Crosby a hug and a kiss. Then he went back to the beach and it was night. He saw baby turtles hatch and follow the moonlight into the ocean. They swam away with their brothers and sisters. He flew over the ocean and saw the turtles once more. Then he went home and went to bed at night because he wasn't nocturnal anymore. In the morning he played and played until he was so sandy that he needed a shower. Then he went into a lighthouse and found something and took it out with him. It was a flashlight and it was his treasure. Then he turned nocturnal again.
